The Woman Behind britches workwear for women

Hi, I’m Emma, founder of Britches workwear for women, serial DIYer, home decor lover, and a woman who knows firsthand how frustrating it is to find women’s workwear overalls that actually fit, feel good, and look great. Tired of making do with men’s workwear or flimsy alternatives, I set out to create something better, overalls designed for women who do it all. From DIY to gardening, crafting to just tackling life, Britches workwear is here to make sure you feel comfortable, confident, and ready to get Britching.

I bought these as a birthday present for myself and they made me smile all day! They are exquisitely packaged, and the details are so well thought out, to say nothing of the joyful colours. They are practical enough to make jobs easy but beautiful enough to wear whenever and wherever you choose. Finally, something that fits women of all shapes and sizes, with pockets to die for, and that even my teenage daughters admired! Absolutely surpassed my expectations-I’m delighted with them and am now putting Eucalyptus on my wish list.

I’m a repair person who regularly takes on large building projects, and my body proportions are notoriously difficult to clothe. I’m extremely high waisted and long legged as well as being plus size (UK 20). I can’t tell you how delighted I am with this purchase, they’re so adjustable with the straps that I was able to put the waist elastic (genius btw) at my actual waist, and the legs are actually long enough for me! The quality is out of this world, they’re so well made, and the quirky details like the scallops and the kangaroo pocket across the front have made these overalls my new favourite item of clothing.

I bought these after searching high and low for dungarees that didn’t look cheap, weren’t made for men and would make me feel good whilst doing our renovations. I LOVE them – they are perfect, so comfortable, the front pocket is ideally for up-ladder sort of jobs, phone and anything else I need to hide away (chocolate!). Have washed them once and clean as a pin now (only thing in our dusty house!). I feel feminine yet capable of the house challenges – yup I was removing plumbing today!
